At Solon Collision, we’re always working to expand our services and offer convenient, cost-effective solutions for our customers. That’s why we’re excited to announce that we’re in the process of training our team to offer professional windshield chip repair services to the public.

What Is Windshield Chip Repair?

Windshield chip repair is a fast and affordable way to fix small cracks or chips in your glass—typically caused by rocks or road debris. Instead of replacing the entire windshield, we’ll be able to fill the damaged area with a special resin that restores clarity and prevents the crack from spreading.

Why It Matters

  • Prevents further cracking – Chips can spread into full-blown cracks if left unrepaired.

  • Saves you money – Repairing a chip is far more affordable than a full replacement.

  • Keeps your vehicle safe – A compromised windshield can reduce structural integrity in a collision.

  • May be covered by insurance – Many policies cover chip repair at no cost to you.

When Will This Service Be Available?

We’re currently undergoing training and certification to ensure we meet industry standards. We expect to begin offering windshield chip repairs in-house very soon, and we’ll announce availability once we’re ready to go.

If you’ve got a chip in your glass and want to be among the first to take advantage of this service, give us a call at 440-903-1009 or email us at Office@SolonCollision.com to get on our interest list.
